Deepwater 2371: Scarecrow Festival

Deepwater is a small town between Glen Innes and Tenterfield. It has struggled, like so many country towns, and is turning to an annual festival to bring the punters and their money to town.
The Scarecrow Festival sounds like great fun, still 6 months away but put it into your diary.
Thanks to the 'Man from Libya' for this lovely shot.

  1. That sounds quite unique as far as festivals go! I was suprised to learn that Deepwater has a shop that sells things close to my heart too, fossicking supplies! But, there is a lot of gemstones and gold that can be found in the area even though it is not a well known place compared to others.
