This is the 104 year old Briner Bridge that crosses the Coldstream River and links the village of Tucabia with Ulmarra and Grafton. When you drive over the timber decked bridge it makes a marvelous clankety clank sound.

ReplyDeleteI hope they maintain it well. Don't want to be half way across, when you hear a BIG CRACK. There was a train accident in New Zealand on the 50s.

ReplyDeleteIts nice that you can drive over this bridge. If I see the picture I think it is not possible to drive over such a bridge. But perhaps then you have to make a detour of several hours.
