Joan I was planning a few posts on the Hinze Dam but probably wont get to it now. In the extensive display there is no mention of Russ Hinze, Minister for Everything, but I did find out that it is named not after Russ but after his pioneering ancestors who owned/farmed the valley that is now underwater.
Yes, that really looks like an interesting park. Beautiful scenery in the background.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely, interesting and different looking park, Mark! Terrific capture for the day! Hope you have a great week!

Hinze, what a larger than life man he was. This is the first time I've seen his dam.
ReplyDeleteA very different park Mark ..... I would think a great area for walking but there seems to be no shady areas
ReplyDeleteThat is so dramaric Mark. I like the modernity of the park and paths set against the majestic backdrop.
